We developed polymers, evaluated resorbable polymers and surface modified polymers for use in heart valves, vascular grafts and indwelling catheters. This research resulted in several patents that involved surface modified polymers for improved blood compatibility. Consulted with sister companies: Intermedics Pacemakers - Recommended a replacement for Pellethane lead insulation; Intermedics Orthopedics - Recommended surface treatment to reduce friction of knee prosthesis.
