As EVP and CIO, Jack was responsible for the strategy, development and management of technology solutions to enable profitable growth and market leadership. R1 is a leading provider of technology-enabled services for healthcare providers. From 2016-2018, R1 listed on the NASDAQ, grew revenue by over 300% (from $208M to $868M in revenue), improved EBITDA by $83M (reversing losses), advanced its technology portfolio, tripled the sales pipeline, and successfully scaled operations. With 17,000+ employees, R1 generated 2019 revenue of $1.19 billion, up ~32% vs. prior year, delivered EBITDA of $168.0 million, up $111.0 million vs. 2018, and continues to exceed performance goals. Exceeded private equity investor objectives. R1 has highlighted its digital capabilities and automation as a key element of its strategy. Delivered technology solutions for some of the largest and most progressive healthcare providers in the U.S., received market accolades for new product innovation, and earned market recognition as the top provider of revenue cycle outsourcing for large health systems.

As SVP of Product and Technology Solutions, Jack led a team of ~2,700 professionals and had responsibility for technology solutions across Highmark Health, a leading health and wellness company with over $18 billion in revenue and over 40,000 employees who proudly serve nearly 50 million Americans across the U.S. While at Highmark, Jack helped successfully launch HM Health Solutions (HMHS), a platform-based technology company, now with $900 million in revenue. HMHS now serves 13 health plans and supports over 10 million health plan members. Responsibilities spanned strategic planning, digital strategy and solution development, management, and delivery of platform-based technology solutions and operations.

As VP of Application Services Global Delivery at Hewlett-Packard, Jack was responsible for leading an organization of over 15,000 employees focused on delivering services for 300+ clients around the world as part of the HP Application Services line of business with ~$7 billion in annual revenue. He was accountable for delivering solutions that helped customers, many of which were Fortune 500 companies, better leverage technology to accomplish their strategic business objectives. He developed business strategies, led global transformation efforts, and managed delivery of services including application development and outsourcing, testing, enterprise application services, application modernization, and solutions spanning cloud, mobility, social computing, and analytics. Jack managed a global service delivery network including key centers in the Americas, Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Asia regions. While at HP, Jack served in a variety of leadership roles spanning strategy, operations, portfolio management and technology service delivery.
