Greetings! I am Jack Goossen, a Dutch iOS Software Architect/Engineer with a knack for crafting efficient, elegant solutions in Swift and C/C++. In my nearly twenty years of experience, I've had the pleasure to work with talented, often multi-disciplinary, teams in different companies and domains. In the past decade, I've operated my own company, where I developed iOS applications with more than 1,300,000 downloads in the App Store and provided software development services to external clients.I possess a comprehensive skill set encompassing software design, modelling, development, documentation, testing, analysis, optimisation, and review. Working closely with stakeholders, I have shaped precise requirements that align with client needs. Throughout my career, I've coached junior developers, helping them become adept software engineers. Furthermore, I demonstrated technical leadership capabilities by effectively managing and leading small teams.I love to read (about) software and occasionally write about software. When I'm not busy with software, I like to create visual art (with software), play Jazz on my Hammond B3 or go on hiking adventures with my wife, son and daughter.
