Leading the design, development and deployment of new electric vehicle charging solutions within Ford's Integrated Services team. Particularly focused on charging services that take Ford customer experiences from 'good to great,' our team will be making it easier than ever to consider, buy, and drive an electric vehicle!

City:One, also known as Urbanite, is a unique consulting program to address equity, accessibility, safety and sustainability through community-centered mobility innovation. We deploy our programs across the country to develop long-term relationships with mobility stakeholders and engage local communities in the mobility innovation process to design and deploy mobility solutions that support racial equity, disability accessibility, jobs access, and more. Since 2018, the City:One team has successfully distributed over one-million dollars ($1MM) in total grant funding across 15 mobility pilots, after receiving approximately 1,000 mobility entrepreneur proposals in Detroit, Indianapolis, Austin, Miami-Dade County, Pittsburgh, Grand Rapids, and Mexico City.As the Co-Founder & Consulting Lead, it is my responsibility to sell, design, scope and manage our City:One consulting projects (e.g., City:One Challenges) to support cities, counties, and other mobility stakeholders as they look to implement new mobility solutions to address equity, accessibility, safety and sustainability through a community-centered lens.

As the Co-Founder & Innovation Lead for the team, I am helping city governments around North America understand and deploy new mobility solutions for under-served communities through our "Challenge" program. Utilizing a community-centered design approach, I lead city and community stakeholders through the ambiguity of sourcing and designing future mobility solutions for the particular needs of their cities and finding creative ways of quickly bringing them to market. Outside of the City:One Challenge work, I help identify new market opportunities for Ford Mobility's City Solutions team, particularly as it's related to developing new services and products that would contribute to Ford's future as a "mobility" company.

After five years in Chicago, my wife and I decided that it was time for a change - time for exposure, immersion and life-long experiences. To do that, we set off for seven months to tour some of the world's most unique landscapes, cultures, religions and people. It was the best thing we've ever done. It isn't often that you have the opportunity to sit privately with the Dalai Lama's deputy as he discusses his philosophy of world reconciliation; hear a grandfather and grandson play traditional Gaucho music in Patagonia; make dinner toasts with homemade moonshine through a translator app in rural Vietnam; or sing in a local church choir in Zambia. Now back in America, not only do we have a renewed energy for the way we want to live, but we also have a much clearer sense of our role in the world. Collaborated with clients to solve some of today's most difficult problems through a blend of strategy, design and technology. Focusing in on those questions that kept leadership teams up at night, I led teams through the design and development of concepts, experiences and businesses that redefined industries and the way customers/patients/users live their lives. - Executed the global research and design of six consumer-facing, multinational businesses to dramatically benefit health outcomes of Indian middle class families struggling to manage their diabetes and high blood pressure.- Led a multidisciplinary team of technologists, researchers, strategists, and designers through the evaluative testing, development and pilot design of nine products and businesses that will redefine the relationship between one of America’s largest health insurers, their customers and their doctors. - Delivered the research, design and MVO development of a healthcare mobile app that will significantly improve healthcare delivery and personalization for one of America’s largest, non-profit hospital systems.

As a Senior Insights Consultant I was responsible for the overall design and execution of our ethnographic research, including the critical stages of analysis and synthesis, where client teams were integrated into our work process to disseminate insights and ideas.- Served as lead strategist for the Veterans Experience Office in their effort to overhaul the way US Veterans Affairs (VA) engages their members, resulting in the development of new, award-winning Veteran outreach programs and onboarding materials. - Researched and redesigned the entry-level hiring process at Veteran Affairs (VA) hospitals and clinics for VA’s personnel department resulting in a ~60% drop in process lag-time. - Drove the research and design of a mobile healthcare application for an Isreali healthcare startup to rethink the way patients utilize and pay for outpatient care resources.

Working with a diverse set of clients, I helped the Doblin team understand the deep, unmet needs of consumers and apply those needs to solve complex business problems for our clients. As a user researcher and strategist, it was my role to plan and execute ethnographic field research then develop new business models based upon those research insights.- Designed and executed research in rural Mississippi and Kentucky for the development of grassroots healthcare engagement models through which a major health insurer could better serve its at-risk populations.- Partnered with industry leaders to research and design a new business in the environmental insurance market to flip longstanding industry norms to reach new customers.

I worked with Seth Starner and the Business Innovations team at Amway on two Human Centered Design projects for the 5 year development of the direct selling company - Amway.Although both projects were based in Western Europe, they were different in their focus, application, and scale. The first project was based in understanding and quantifying the full spectrum of "opportunity seekers" in the Western European context and building a direct sales system around various positions in that spectrum of seekers. The second project dealt a bit more with the present day reality of the organization and focuses on understanding all of the physical spaces that are used by current Amway distributors and key stakeholders in order to exploit the existing benefits and design new structures to enhance future interactions. In total, we spoke directly with over 200 individuals, through traditional ethnographical research in their homes as well as in research centers. The research was conducted in London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Milan, Frankfurt, Munich, and Berlin.
