Regardless of the extent of resources, an individual who is aware of his or her talents and needs is in a matchless position to achieve positive change.Change is complex. With simple behaviors, such as walking 5 miles or driving a car 20 miles, we make thousand of changes or adjustments. We are uniformly successful with these behaviors. With complex behaviors, such as learning, exercising, healthy eating, smoking cessation, weight loss, we "snap" our fingers and expect instant success. It doesn't work that way. Our organization copies the approaches we instinctively use in simple behaviors, and applies them to complex behaviors. With incremental and systemic change, meaningful transformation can be accomplished.Our organization utilizes Small Steps for Life (SSFL), which is the mechanism by which incremental and systemic change is implemented. Its mission is to transition student outcomes from underperformance to high performance results. It utilizes empowerment and inspirational components. It can be applied into any curriculum with little or no effort. A simple instructional guide is provided. There are no charges.
