This is the commonality that I have strived for in my 18 year career. As the Senior Group Inclusion Advisor at HSBC, I combine more than a decade of inclusion advocacy and a deep knowledge of customer's experience of the finance industry to accelerate our purpose-driven journey and influence real, impactful and equitable change through the financial system. I have a strong retail banking background in regulated financial planning, mortgage advisory as well as COO functional expertise and large-scale critical change delivery.I have led and executed several ground-breaking initiatives that have enhanced HSBC's reputation as a leader in D&I in Asia-Pacific and globally, such as expanding insurance beneficiaries to include same-sex and de facto partners, introducing gender-neutral prefixes and change of gender guidelines, and coaching senior leaders on their personal case for change. I have also managed and empowered seven global employee resource groups, increasing employee engagement and talent attraction. In recognition of my achievements, I have been awarded the Community Business Hong Kong LGBT Inclusion Champion award amongst others. My mission continues to be to leverage my expertise and experience to make a positive difference in the lives of our customers, employees, and communities.
