My name is Jack Gurr, and in late 2017, I earned a Bachelor of Design (Hon) degree from QUT, with a specialization in Industrial Design. My career in the industry began at Moreton Hire, where I served as an Exhibition and Stand Designer for 18 months. Following this, I spent three years as the Lead Industrial Designer at Dienamics, a design consultancy firm that focuses on in-house product design and manufacturing in Brisbane. These experiences paved the way for my current position as Senior Industrial Designer at Evolve Group.During my career, I have contributed to the development of products for various fields, including Construction, Medical, Consumer, Mining, and Agriculture. I have played an integral role in the entire product development process, from conceptualization to CAD, prototyping, and mass production. My collaborations with seasoned toolmakers and injection moulders have enriched my knowledge in Design for Manufacture.
