In 2009, Jack cofounded Lava7™, an agency focused exclusively on social media marketing solutions for businesses. Then, for nearly 12 years he focused on two other business ventures that distracted him from Lava7—namely, My Social Practice ( https://mysocialpractice.com ) and Insulin IQ ( https://www.insuliniq.com ). In September of 2021, after selling his interest in those two companies, Jack relaunched Lava7 with his son, Jackson Hadley. Lava7 is now very narrow in its focus: marketing solutions for small businesses that are simple, affordable, sustainable and effective.Jack was a co-founder of My Social Practice, an agency providing social media marketing content, strategy and support to dental and dental-specialty practices worldwide. He also developed the curriculum, and has taught Social Media Marketing to MBA students at Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management in Provo, Utah.In early 2008, he founded Cowork Utah—a social media community workspace that provided a collaborative environment for independent designers, bloggers, and programmers.
