After leaving the college for a year i returned with a improved troubleshooting and repair skills. My position now resides at the Chester campus, i maintain the day to day workings of the network within this campus. Currently only two members of our team are permanently at this campus. My day to day activities vary from each day.

Since completing my foundation degree within computing science I started at Upton High school. this role is very similar to my last job at West Cheshire College. Here I look after and maintain all the schools computer systems. I am part of a three man team which cater for all staff and students. This school has a IPad integration program for students.

After Volenteering for over a year, i had been offered a contract with West Cheshire College. My role would carry on from my volunteering position. This would cover all fault finding and repairing of laptops and desktop machines around the college to assisting with the day to day changes thoughout the college. I work from second line on support.

My main duties within Obsidian Networks were on first line support, sometimes i would be able to tackle some of the more high end second line jobs. Primarily i would be completing daily checks ensuring that clients servers are running fine and solving issues for them before they would arise and affect the rest of the business.

Here i worked on the shop floor ensure customers were getting the high level of customer service they would expect form a Ted Baker store. Mainly i would work on the fitting rooms, ensuring that customers had the correct items ad sizes, quite often i would have to work between other departments within the store on top of the fitting room areas.

My duties throughout SYNCREON would be to pick several parts per sheet which would be used to build up the center console within a Vauxhall Astra. this would include the radio/CD player itself the in car display as well as any extra features like Air-Con. I would have to complected each 'pick' within a minute before the next cage was ready. This position would require myself to be fast and precise, as mistakes would cost SYNCREON dearly.
