I've been busy at IReL for the last few years expanding its membership* and staff, working to increase its funding, keeping its business practices robust (overseeing financial reporting, procurement, contracts), acting as chief negotiator for 14 transformative open access agreements**, supporting novel OA models (Subscribe to Open, SCOAP3)*** and designing a new model for OA funding****, overseeing the launch of the Irish ORCID consortium*****, and much more!

**I've either led or overseen the signing of 19 TAs in the last two years. I recently worked in:-Working with faculty in DCU's Business School to expand the range of information literacy training offered to its students-Advising the Business School on options to make its published research Open Access. -The treasurer and planning committee member for the CONUL annual of Irish research libraries.

Here my time was split between:-working with the Library’s Information and Public Services team providing research support and training for DCU's STEM research centres.-working with the Library’s Collection Management Services team to manage access to IReL funded e-resources in DCU. I managed integrating the resources with the content management system, federated search and website and worked with publishers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless access to resources.
