I have worked with individuals with developmental disabilities for over 35 years, the last 16 years specializing in intensive behaivoral intervention for children with autism. I am a licensed psychologist who oversees the intervention programs for children age 2-10. The intervention package developed at Behavioral Dimensions uses applied behavioral analysis to teach children the skills to remediate the social and communication skills deficits which are symptoms of the disorder. My colleagues and I bring decades of experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors due to communication difficulties to the clinical world of autism to remediate common issues such as difficulties coping with denials, delays, and persisting when tasks get difficult.
