* Establishment and leadership of 4 extremely diverse teams tasked with providing various support services to Sydney Water's customers and to field-based front line customer facing staff; including training development and delivery; inventory and plant & equipment management; innovations program management; and third party customer claims management* Management lead of the WHS Committee for field-based front line maintenance staff

* Project Management of the Civil Maintenance Task Analysis; identify best practices, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement to maximise the businesses ability to “meet the market”* Extensive stakeholder engagement; including individual coaching meetings with field staff* Regular engagement with union delegates and staff representatives

* Provide leadership and strategic direction to business partners during a period of substantial organisational change in a highly unionised work environment; specifically the outsourcing of all mechanical and electrical functions* Union executive liaison for the Mechanical/Electrical business; including strategy development, union communications, dispute resolution* Leadership of the end to end union and employee consultation during the organisational transformation process

* Day to day operation and management of approx. 66 mechanical and electrical trades personnel to ensure the provision of 24/7 emergency service in conjunction with ongoing corrective and preventative maintenance programs* Effective management of the workforce to safely deliver essential maintenance works within agreed quality, performance, time, resource and budgeting constraints

* Provide business partnering to a complex business unit management team with over 600 highly unionised staff. Deliver generalist HR coaching, support and advice to divisional managers and employees, ensure effective execution of core HR policies and processes, facilitate change management, and provide specialist HR advice to assist the delivery of business outcomes* Provision of strategic advice to business partners and executive teams across the organisation on issues such as recruitment, workforce planning, organisational change, performance effectiveness (including talent, critical positions, knowledge transfer identification)* Management of employee performance issues, injury management, grievances, enterprise agreement interpretation, industrial relations matters and matters referred to Fair Work Australia* Provision of HR support in key business decisions and strategic directions for future business, referencing relevant work place legislations, NSW acts and Fair Work Rulings* Development and implementation of the Service Delivery Human Resources performance report for communication to the senior management
