After ordination training I worked as a University Chaplain during COVID. This experience gave me a high level of compassion for students and staff in isolation and the opportunity to create safe spaces for wellbeing. Working alongside a multi faith team broadened my understanding of faith, culture and seeking common ground. After relocating to support my son's basketball placement with Canterbury Crusaders Elite team I had some time out of full-time employment and the chance to travel. I relished time in Australia hiking the Blue Mountains and Snorkeling in the Whitsundays as well as hiking The Path of the Gods in Bomerano, Italy. I've always been a keen athlete and developed new skills in Deep Tissue Sports Massage Therapy with Kent Sports Academy. My son is now ready for his next venture pursuing Basketball in Texas and this leaves us in the empty nest phase of parenting. Looking forward to seeing how my years of work experience in the Church, Schools and Business world collide!
