Provides legal support and guidance to Internal Business Operations as well as house counsel. • Served as 2nd Chair, Trial and Case Coordinator for High Exposure litigation: conducted legal research; prepared points & authorities and internal memoranda regarding claim exposure. (2021 – 2022)• Manages, supports and consults on design, development, oversees and integrates with (proprietary software ordering system) Provides user administration and training for House counsel and outside counsel.• Review vendor contracts; negotiate vendor services to achieve cost savings as well as manage vendor relationships. • Creates, reviews and/or orders customized analytics for use in business decision making.• Identifies, coordinates and leads teams to gain awareness and resolve business issues. Principally responsible for reviewing Panel and Independent Counsel bills for all Personal and Commercial lines of Business. While performing this function, I was able to identify and recover over $12 Million in overpayments of legal fees in 1 year.

Managing construction defect claims and mass tort claims handling. Decision making on settlement posture and approval of settlements. Review policies and generate coverage decisions. Prepare coverage and reservation of rights letters to insureds. Provide direction for retention of consultants and experts.

Oversee, supervise and manage a legal bill review staff of 10.Review legal bills submitted by outside counsel. Assist in case management. Review appeals of legal bills from outside counsel and mediate payment decisions. Identified billing trends including overpayments. Position was relocated out of state.
