My responsibilities included: training new employees, over seeing a group of employees, help with customer service, help management, and inventory countsDuring the duration of my employment at Chuck E Cheese I gained a great deal of business and team building knowledge. I quickly worked my way up the chain of command from a "Team Member" to a "Team2 Leader". In order to accomplish this I learned how to preform all of the team member positions within the store, these include: kid check, cashier, game room attendant, kitchen (pizza cook), merchandise (prize counter), and party host.I was then put through a training course on how to be a Team 2 Leader and passed this course. During the course I learned how to properly and proficiently train other team members in all of the position and how to handling minor customer complaints. This training taught me how to teach, inspire and lead my fellow team members to accomplish task in a manner that would exceed expectations. It taught me the value of team building, organization, and good communication skills. It also taught me how to handle customers in a kind and rewording manner. I then learned how to count inventory and place new orders for merchandise (prizes) that were needed. This helped teach/enforce many of the accounting concepts dealing with inventory.
