As a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer with Mortgage, I have been able to share in the happiness of clients achieving their dreams of home ownership since 1995. After earning a marketing degree from Middle Tennessee State University, I worked for a decade in the financial planning and insurance industries. Those early experiences taught me how to prepare and submit files for underwriting – skills that have served me well in this industry. I lived and worked in Puerto Rico for nearly four years prior to joining MIG, and while there I learned to speak Spanish, enabling me to help those clients who are more comfortable doing business in their own language. In recent years, Lane Gonzalez and Jesus Gonzalez, bilingual loan officers, have joined me in assisting the Hispanic community. With a team of three Spanish speaking loan officers, we are able to handle their transactions efficiently, and are 100% vested in making their homeownership a reality. In addition to Lane and Jesus, I have an amazing team who also help my clients navigate through the home buying process from start to finish with our collective 75-plus years of experience at MIG. We all take pride in seeing that every client, regardless of the size or type of the loan they’re seeking or their credit situation, receives the same high degree of service.The Knoxville Mortgage Bankers Association has recognized me with Silver, Gold or Platinum awards since 2001. I earned the association’s President’s Circle Award (top 3) in 2010, and have finished in the Top 8 loan officers in the Knoxville area since that time. I am honored to have been included in the Top 100 Loan Officers/Volume for 2020 by the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA). Twenty-six years in I can say that the last two years have tested the mortgage and real estate industries on every front. The harder it got, the longer we worked, and am so appreciative of my team's dedication, for my realtor and client relationships, and for MIG. Everyone stepped up their game to meet the challenges.
