Ensure the availability and functionality of PD ALTESS server information systems. Ensure security patches are installed in accordance with configuration management policies for all servers assigned. Important member to a desktop deployment team that completed two major projects nationally. During the TSA Refresh was able to refresh a substantial amount of desktop computers from Baltimore-Washington International Airport to Hilo, Hawaii International Airport in a short timeframe. Played a major role in the Federal Air Marshall refresh. Was able to work well with different TSA staff, IT specialist, and other Apex contractors throughout both projects. • Refreshed TSA computers at 15 different locations nation wide • Replaced and refreshed over 400 desktop computers with no issues for the TSA refresh • With a 4 week time span was able to refresh 2 major Federal Air Marshall centers with 430 new assets including desktops, laptops, and tablets.

• Developed migration plan for squadron to embark and integrate with ships LAN. This includes server configuration, desktop deployment, and LAN expansion as well as group policy integration. As the Command’s Information Assurance Manager (IAM) maintained all government, information systems were compliant with DOD security controls and policy. Created and provided training for information security awareness for all personnel including upper leadership.

• Responsible for inventory, distribution, and configuration of 117 type 1 encryption devices. Responsible for mission critical communication for the Naval Atlantic region. Developed, implemented, and maintained OPTASKCOMMS PLAN for up to 33 different units. Providing 24/7 technical support for all of these units. This included EHF, UHF, SHF, HF, GBS, TDL, WAN, and LAN communications.

• Supervised and trained 7 Junior Network Administrators and 18 customer service technicians responsible for more than 2,000 users, 2 Local Area Networks(UNCLASS/SECRET), 29 servers both UNIX and windows based, 1600workstations, 4 Alcatel layer 2/3 Backbones, 10 Alcatel (9WX) layer 2 switches, and 5 Cisco(2600&4000) routers. • Developed, planned, trained, and implemented security/directory policies, strategies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
