I was taken on by Prime Focus on a short term contract, to manage 2 fast turnaround projects for Thames TV, Take Me Out (ITV 1 – series 4 and 5) and The Gossip (ITV2 – series 2 and 3). It was my responsibility to organize the technical staff according to the daily hire requirements, to ensure their time and vehicles were used in the most time efficient and cost effective way, whilst also considering the experience level of the individual. During the 8 years I worked at Nats I did several contracts, working in Bookings, project managing various TV series, as well as reorganising the tape library structure, helping to move from a paper based bookings system to the ScheduALL scheduling system, and providing HR support to the MD.
