▪ On call 24/7 and responsible for the daily operations of a clinically based 10 bed Safe Home; Maintained compliance with expected level of treatment and services outlined in DCF licensing and regulations; Developed and maintained professional rapport with DCF Area and Central Offices, outside providers, school systems, surrogates, GAL’s, attorneys, and biological family members; Managed all referrals, intakes, discharges, disruptions, removals, hospitalizations, and AWOLS; Participated in weekly clinical and psychiatric rounds in order to assess and develop diagnosis’s, treatment and behavior plans, interventions and crisis management; Designed and implemented behavioral management system; Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and terminating employees; Implemented and enforced agency policy and procedures; Responsible for maintaining weekly food and recreational activities based upon annual budget; Provided individual trauma informed therapy, facilitated social skills groups, and Project Joy Play Therapy; Extensive knowledge with state and federal licensing requirements pertaining to child welfare in group homes and residential facilities.
