For over 15 years, I have been dedicated to enhancing the health, fitness and wellbeing of older adults through wellness services. I hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, which enable me to design and deliver evidence-based programs that meet the diverse needs and preferences of my clients. As a Health and Wellness Consultant, I leverage my skills and experience to create and implement wellness strategies that align with the mission and vision of various organizations.Previously, I served as the Wellness Director at National Church Residences, where I oversaw the operations and program development for a wellness center that specializes in serving those 55 and older. I supervised a team of wellness coordinators, instructors, and volunteers, and coordinated with external partners, such as health care providers, community organizations, and vendors, to enhance the quality and accessibility of our services. Some of my achievements include increasing the enrollment and retention rates of our wellness programs, securing grants and donations for equipment and supplies, and launching new initiatives, such as virtual fitness classes, wellness workshops, and health screenings. I am passionate about empowering older adults to live healthy, active, and fulfilling lives.
