You can never know enough. As an artist, I have been interested in art since my childhood and I have been learning ever since. I began attending art lessons in 1992 and that is when my artistic journey took a leap forward. There exist many different themes, and my style is constantly evolving. However, expressing my state of mind and emotions, experimenting with various media is my prime joy. In the past few years, Jackie‘s work has been characterized by strong emphasis on light, shadow, and, most of all color and texture. My abstract paintings are a combination of planned and spontaneous creative impulse. Each painting is like a journey; once the painting is started, there is no map and no destination. The finished painting is not always something you can completely plan at the beginning, and this is what makes the process so challenging and interesting.
