About Jackie Payne

I have been the Centre Manager of the Samson Centre for MS for the past 13 years. The Samson Centre is a small, self-funded charity and is a haven for people who are living with MS. Physiotherapy, exercise and oxygen therapy are offered to our members. The role is very varied and includes welcoming new members, managing a team of volunteers, working with the trustees, organising different fundraising events, managing our Lead Physio, Fundraiser, Oxygen Therapy Coordinator and Admin support staff, managing our Gift Aid claims, dealing with donations, sourcing supplies for the Centre, arranging insurance cover, managing appointment bookings and cancellations etc.Prior to working in the charity sector, I spent over 20 years in the financial services industry in a variety of HR, training & development and project management roles.
