• Accountable for service, facilities and administrative management for the Campus Services’ health and safety, compliance and refurbishment across 1800 accommodation units (Halls, houses and flats) and preschool• Monitor and appraise the service to ensure continuous improvement and promote growth of income streams• Leadership of a team of 8 to achieve SLA and customer satisfaction, ensuring all compliance obligations are met and that residential properties support student lettings safely and effectively within budget• Create the annual compliance schedule and deliver H&S compliance ensuring systems are in place and monitored against university policies and procedures, HSE legal requirements and UUK Code of Practice for student housing• Acted as risk assessor for Campus Services’ Covid-19 secure procedures, signposting students to current guidance on self-isolation on arrival in the UK and co-ordinating those self-isolating on campus• Deliver the student changeover maintenance programme ensuring H&S and compliance obligations are met• Department representative at University Safety Group and Compliance meetings• Ofsted nominated/responsible person, ensuring continual monitoring of performance and provision of information• Represent Cranfield University at the Association of Student Residential Accommodation events and forums.• Prepare for external audits, conduct ISO45001 audits, general/fire/asbestos risk assessments
