Hello, my name is Jackie Vega. I’m a student at John Brown University double majoring in International Business and Management. My passion for the business field and making a positive difference in my community first sparked while in High School. In addition, for the last four years, I have participated in and led numerous community outreach programs for empowering the youth and initiatives tackling food insecurity in the Northwest Arkansas Community. These organizations were affiliated with the Rogers Downtown Rotary, Rogers Noon Rotary, and the Rogers Lowell Chamber of Commerce. Throughout this time, I led events, networked with community leaders, mentored younger youth, and served on multiple community events boards. As a result of my involvement, I learned and exercised valuable soft skills and leadership skills, which have undoubtedly shaped my work ethic and dedication. My extensive ambition and work ethic are also fueled by my passion for personal growth. I believe that personal growth is essential in this world to become better individuals and make the world a better place. I strive every day to reach personal and professional goals by challenging myself with risks and taking new opportunities. I hope and strive to gain a fulfilling job that expands my professional expertise, positively impacts my community, and upholds the values of growth and opportunity.
