I'm a member of the adjunct faculty for USF's College of Professional Studies. I've taught a variety of courses in both the undergraduate degree in Organization Behavior, and the graduate program, a Masters of Science in Human Resources and Organization Development. Courses include Systems, Technology and Change, Group Dynamics and Team Development, Group Process, Communication and Facilitation, Planned Organizational Change, Leadership in Organization Development, and Culminating Project Advisor.I've enjoyed teaching in a variety of USF campuses including San Francisco, Oakland, Cupertino, and Sacramento. I love the time I have with these wonderful, intelligent, inquisitive, working adult learners. I learn as much from them as they do from me, and this thoughtful exchange keeps me tuned in to current OD work in a variety of industries.

As a member of the adjunct faculty, I teach a variety of graduate courses in the Human Resources Development Master's program at Drexel University's Sacramento campus. Drexel is highly respected and is very innovative with their learning strategies. The university is another great option for working professionals in the Sacramento area.

After returning to the US with Oracle, I cultivated the organization development consulting services for Oracle's Management & Professional Development and Organization & Talent Development groups. As the Director for North America, I led a team of senior learning and organization development consultants. Our team was responsible for all professional, leadership and organization development for Oracle's 50,000+ in the US and Canada. Many of our internal clients had global scope, and our projects range from diagnosis and customized OD solutions to design, development and delivery of blended learning and experiential solutions.As the group continued to grow, we transitioned from a regional focus to a truly global organization. Eventually, I led our Global Organization Enablement team with four key functions: learning operations, virtual information services, organization development practice, and strategic communications.

I started my Oracle career as a consultant in our Organizational Change Management consulting organization, helping global customers with their technology implementations in a way that increases their time to profit and reduces their risk. After much travel and great international experience, I relocated to England to help create our consulting practice in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As the Practice Development Manager, I was responsible for creating the infrastructure for the consulting organization, all consultant development, knowledge management, process development, and consultant advising.Upon my return to the US at the turn of the millennium, I led a consulting and training development group within our Management & Professional Development organization. This later became our current group, Organization & Talent Development.

(Electronic Data Systems, EDS, was acquired by HP in 2008.)I began my career with EDS as a Corporate Recruiter, covering the Pacific Northwest region. This was a great position that involved public speaking, analysis, selling, and meeting a quota with quality. I relocated to our corporate headquarters in Plano, TX to become a Training Specialist in our Leadership & Professional Development group. In the midst of design, development, and delivery of a variety of courses, I joined a small team charged with developing EDS' Change Management methodology and consulting services - the best self-directed team experience I've ever had!I returned to the west coast in 1992 to provide OD services across the western region. From 1994 - 1996 I led a Training and Account Services team. I developed a fantastic team of Training Specialists. Our redesigned solutions improved customer satisfaction by 300% (Kirkpartick's level 1) and claims submission success with statistical significance (Kirkpatrick's level 4).My career with EDS gave me a fantastic foundation of experience: influencing and persuasion, learning design and delivery, consulting, change management, executive engagement, communications, methodology and practical action, corporate and field, and life-long relationships.

In this role, I was responsible for a southern California agent base and a book of business worth several billion dollars. I performed risk analysis and engineered successful insurance packages to mitigate loss and improve each agent's business performance. I dealt with high-risk potential such as earthquake and "California brush fire". Personal lines underwriting included home, auto, inland marine, umbrella, and specialty coverage. I built strong relationships with partner Sales Representatives and Principal Agents to ensure success for all. I enjoyed being a Trainer to new Underwriters.
