Jackie directs the Downtown Calera revitalization program, focusing on historic preservation and economic development through property restoration, entrepreneur coaching, fundraising, marketing, PR, and special events to build community for the City of Calera. She fosters public/private partnerships for fundraising, helps new businesses launch and thrive, and works to turn a neglected district into a destination.

Jackie led this transitional residence program for women in early recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. FOCUS provided a non-judgmental environment of support and accountability through faith and proven recovery processes to guide women in early recovery to true and lasting freedom from addiction. As Executive Director, Jackie managed all operations, programming, human resources, and accounting as well as community outreach, fundraising, special events, and marketing for the organization. FOCUS served an average of 60 women annually with a 6-month robust program of accountability, structure and various group classes for recovery and life skills.

As Executive Director, Jackie had responsibility for the pregnancy center, which included the implementation of policies and procedures approved by the Board of Directors while adhering to the budget. The primary areas of responsibility were administrative, donor development, fundraising, marketing and public relations.

After experiencing job elimination in December of 2009, Jackie began to investigate the non-profit sector. Her search led to Whispering Hope, a women’s resource and pregnancy center in Cumming, GA. While there were no positions available at the time, they still had a need, so she took on a volunteer leadership role and developed a thrift store called the “Bargain Boutique” to generate revenue for Whispering Hope. Jackie coordinated volunteers, donations, setup and design of the store, marketing, promotion and managed the daily activities of this three month project. The event raised approximately $14,000 during the six weeks the store was actually open, and was considered so successful that Whispering Hope decided to reopen the store in the fall on a permanent basis.

Directly responsible for all marketing, advertising, lead generation and PR, including print, web, email, video, trade shows and events for a leading wealth management technology solution provider marketed to Registered Investment Advisors as well as the Independent Broker Dealer channel. Maintained the company's marketing budget and supported a five-member national sales team. Developed and produced the company’s own monthly webinar series to co-market their alliance partners and generate new leads. Maintained website and Internet social networking and channel marketing with TD AMERITRADE. Promoted IAS through special events and marketing opportunities to increase sales to benefit both organizations. Managed tele-marketing/lead generation and vendor tracking specific campaigns for ROI. Solely handled event planning for a client’s sales force incentive trip to Hawaii for over 250 people. Created and operated broadcast graphics for weekly corporate television broadcasts and various video graphics. Managed, coordinated and designed advertising campaigns and corporate and retail collateral while maintaining budgets and complete production from start to finish for any marketing/communications need from print, to video, to multimedia and web.Served as Marketing Director for national home decor company, running their 3-day annual customer event and handled PR for the company's president and their presence at the America's Mart in Atlanta. Contracted with The Home Depot's corporate headquarters for over two years to produce all of the company's orientation materials for multiple countries.

At the time, Platinum was one of the largest independent music distribution companies in the United States. Restructured the art department and improved overall productivity and creativity. Worked directly with the president as well as other key executives to create company-wide marketing campaigns. Directed all creative content and trafficked all CD packaging and promotional projects for pop, country, classical, urban, blues and gospel labels.
