Key 2020 Outcomes:* Planned, designed, and implemented an all new Virtual Summer Immersion Program in 2 months while tripling students served, maintaining student outcomes and satisfaction, and improving teacher satisfaction in comparison to previous years.* Led the design and development of a new initiative, Girls Who Code at Home, which has generated a new source of funding and allowed us to reach new audiences with over +45K activity downloads.

I conduct research, write reports, develop curriculum and consult with schools and non-profit organizations to guide their development of K-12 Computer Science & STEM programs.Projects & Tasks Include:* Designing research instruments including surveys, observation, and interview protocols.* Conducting interviews with stakeholders and observations of classrooms.* Analyzing survey and observation data to make programmatic recommendations.* Conducting landscape analyses to understand trends and the competitive landscape in STEM education.* Designing curriculum maps, daily lesson plans, handouts, and multimedia (images, GIFs, videos) for STEM curriculum.* Designing and facilitating online and in-person teacher training programs. * Scoping out curriculum and design work for education projects.* Developing systems and processes to facilitate curriculum development, teacher hiring, on-boarding, and training.

I support STEM Electives teachers across the network in helping them design and facilitate rigorous project based learning (PBL) with students. I also help lead a pilot in DSST that is expanding STEM, Arts, and E-Ship pathways for students in grades 6-12. The goal of our new Pathways initiative is to provide all students with opportunities to explore and pursue their passions in and out of the classroom through PBL, experiential learning, and intentional advising and mentoring.
