About Jackie Blizzard-Caron

I currently work as the Senior Director of Curriculum & Instruction for GWC where I lead our program design, content development and instructional training and support for existing and new programming at the organization. I have experience developing STEM curriculum and programming for Google, DSST Public Schools and Girls Who Code, teaching computer science to middle and high school students, training and coaching educators, building and managing a team, and I am trained as a Civil Engineer with a focus on sustainable design and systems thinking. My mission since completing my PhD in 2013 has been to create innovative STEM programming across multiple education levels to promote diversity and engage students in tackling the most pressing global engineering challenges.
