I'm a marketing strategist with over a decade of experience in marketing and communications strategy, social media activations, planning and execution. But my relationship with marketing began a lot earlier.My roots in marketing began at a very young age, with parents who owned an outdoor advertising company. I later helped them start a digital sign and taxi advertising business while in university. After returning from Germany where I completed a merchandising internship with adidas Originals, I started my career with DDB Edmonton, where I helped execute award-winning behaviour change campaigns focused on traffic safety, waste management and climate change, to name a few. Before joining Adverb, I worked at ATB Financial as a marketing manager supporting business, brand and wealth clients. For me, it's all about connecting people with memorable experiences and telling the stories of Albertans doing amazing things. Whether I'm leading a social media activation like the IABC Gold Quill award-winning ATB Listens Lounge, launching a bank branch dedicated to supporting Albertan artists, putting on a drag queen bingo half-time show at a virtual conference or telling the stories of incredible local entrepreneurs, I love using marketing for the greater good. We could all use a little more good in our lives.
