The Editor, Local Digital Content is responsible for the management of GBH’s content strategy across all digital channels, in service of the growth, engagement and sustainability of our digital audience goals.

I built the GBH drama vertical from the ground up, designing and implementing an editorial strategy, voice, and workflow to showcase dramas from Masterpiece (produced at GBH) and beyond. - Created and write a recap series that regularly ranks in the top page views sitewide- Developed an email newsletter with a nearly 50% open rate to a list of over 60,000- Created, produce, and host a flagship digital aftershow that ranks at the top of our video offerings. - Expanded our digital audience across the board, but most notably among people ages 25-40, a key emerging demographic for public mediaBeyond drama, I work collaboratively to produce content ranging from email products, video series, social media activations, and articles, all with focus on audience development.Early in my career at GBH, I was part of a small 3 person team activated to produce quick turnaround content around organizational priorities. Two of these videos won regional Emmy® awards.Selected a 2022 Becton Fellow. This fellowship, named in honor of GBH’s former president and current vice chair, Henry Becton, Jr., recognizes promising GBH producers and content creators whose work is emblematic of the organization’s public service mission.

Managed complete website overhaul. Worked closely with staff and volunteers to design a site that supported their needs, organized transfer of existing content and creation of new, more functional materials, and acted as project manager and liaison between staff and web development team. Pioneered new social media strategy based on audience analysis. Provided data-driven leadership and hands-on customer service, resulting in demonstrated increase in participation on existing channels and an expanded web presence on new platforms.Managed and organized council-wide events, including creating marketing strategy and advertising materials, teaching workshops, and liaising with vendors.Designed and implemented a tracking system to help streamline the marketing team’s efforts to support other departments. Created graphics, social media campaigns, Constant Contact communications, Facebook ads, videos and more to aid in fund development, recruitment, retention, etc.

Researched and created content for the Big Food exhibit at the Yale Peabody Museum, including planning the exhibition’s content and messaging, writing a majority of the display captions, designing installations, and implementing additional community-based education activities. Wrote a manual promoting, providing instructions for, and recruiting sponsors for the Health Heroes school intervention in the New Haven Public Schools. Researched the intervention, compiled images, and designed step-by-step instructions for educators, parents, and sponsors. Created and edited biographical, educational, and community content for the CARE website, including installing and managing social media.
