Jackie Cimino Email and Phone Number

My name is Jackie Cimino and I am a junior studying hospitality business at Michigan State University. I am interested in event management and luxury travel. I am innovative, a problem-solver, and think very quickly on my feet.I hold an on campus position at the SIRC office, Student and Industry Resource Center, for hospitality business students. I am also completed my summer Event Coordinator internship at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island this past August. On the island this summer, I assisted in the planning and execution of all conferences, weddings, and general events, such as the annual Bayview and Chicago Yacht Races. I worked with an amazing team to build my hands-on event experience and learned about each operating part of the resort. When I am not working within my program, I am most likely rehearsing in the only all treble-voice a cappella group on campus, Ladies First. We sight read music, work to perfect various song covers, and give both on and off campus performances, such as weddings, rehabilitation homes, art festivals, etc. I am the Business Manager and Co-President this year, a position I am very excited about. I recently hosted and organized Acapalooza, the biggest MSU a cappella event of the year. I communicate with venues to schedule performances, handle budgets, plan our extracurricular events, and handle the general business end of our organization.
