The Growth team focused on growing users in Twitter Inc’s priority international markets via data-driven cross-functional strategy and experimentation. I combined my passion for rigorous problem solving and enjoyment for driving growth in my dual role as a product operations manager and data strategist. I focused on isolating the levers impacting audience growth within Twitter Inc’s priority international markets to design, evaluate, and support the execution of country & audience specific growth initiatives.Key Responsibilities:As our team“Data Czar” I was responsible for delivering data analytics and data science resources to the Growth team within each market to measure the impact of growth pilots and execution of cross functional partnerships with the Media, Marketing, Biz Development, and Product Research. Collaborated with product managers, product data science, and product research to analyze larger multi-country shifts in user engagement and user acquisition surfacing key insights that inform product strategy and prioritize markets of interest. Designed cross country as well country specific growth initiatives, operating models, partnerships and strategies and provided guidance to the global leadership, country DRIs and cross-functional partners on their execution. Analyzed user engagement metrics and managed quarterly goal setting process within priority markets to refine country audience strategy and track quarterly OKRs.A few highlights:• Developed heuristic to score the acquisition of live streaming deals in Twitter’s priority markets• Designed playbook for defining growth strategy and audience focus when entering new international markets• Product managed growth data science team development of internal international growth dashboards and data visualizations.

Supported founders efforts in securing first institutional round of financing for a “mobile-first” technology platform that facilitates the monetization of user-generated mobile video content on digital platforms and social mediaPerformed market analysis of the digital media industry, modeled TAM, analyzed competitive video landscape, and delivered results via prepared presentations to attract potential strategic investors and to support pursuit of partnerships with major international media, national sports networks, and leading video technology companies.

Led business development efforts to build energy, environment, and climate practice (EEC) for Cassidy & Associates, a leading government relations firm. Launched and oversaw new firm-wide intern recruiting, hiring, and management.Developed new cross-functional client acquisition strategy, which redefined the firm’s expertise in EEC and Defense space and created new business opportunities.Collaborated with team to successfully obtain over $500mm in federal loan guarantees for multiple clients. Provided strategic consulting to clients: performed policy and economic analysis; covered regulatory activity.

Led global VC/PE practice and established first West Coast office for NEF, the world’s leading provider of financial information, research, and media in renewable energy.Developed vision for enhancing core financial database product covering emerging technologies, early stage financing, and fund tracking; managed global research teams in London and South Africa through various stages of implementation. Collaborated with sales team to broker partnerships, initiate prospective client relationships, discuss venture and technology analysis trends with clients, and secure consulting engagements. Authored global VC/PE and emerging technology research notes including the first public venture capital clean energy financing study (collaboration with UNEP and the Sustainable Energy Finance Alliance). Presented these and other findings on behalf of firm to clients, via webinars, and at conferences in US, Mexico, and UK.
