I organized strategy meetings, project managed the campaign strategy, actively centered Indigenous groups and frontline community voices in the network, and led shareholder engagement with Canada’s largest bank. I also managed reporting and collaboration with funders and reported campaign updates to the head of the Global Banks campaign.

Part of my role was to conduct internal staff consultations on the gap analysis using an online survey mechanism and focus group interviews. I also applied a risk-based approach to developing recommendations for priority policy development.

I wrote speeches, House of Commons statements and questions, press releases, and public engagement remarks. I prepared the Member for Committee meeting appearances, and assisted with constituent casework. I also attended events with the MP and on behalf of the MP for networking purposes.

Throughout my early career at Health Canada I worked on program evaluation, policy development, and national substance abuse policy research. I briefed senior management, drafted ministerial advice and recommendations, and Cabinet briefings. Working across seven bureaus, I coordinated and presented department program expenditures for a high-profile national policy strategy.
