As a Talent and Development Assistant for The Indianapolis Public Library (IndyPL), I am committed to supporting my team in driving organizational growth and employee development.With a strong background in administrative support, I strive to provide exceptional service to internal customers within IndyPL. In my current role, I work closely with the Chief Talent and Development Officer, where I am responsible for various administrative tasks. This includes creating monthly Board reports, maintaining electronic records for reporting purposes, handling new-hire paperwork, and ensuring the confidentiality of employee records. Additionally, I am proficient in preparing COBRA benefits letters and processing workers' compensations claims.I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology. This educational background has equipped me with an understanding of human behavior in the workplace and the ability to apply psychological principles to enhance organizational effectiveness. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in utilizing various computer software, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Furthermore, I am well-versed in two HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now and Workday. Moving forward, my career goals revolve around continuing to provide invaluable assistance to internal customers within the HR industry. I am dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices, ensuring that I can contribute to the success and development of both individuals and organizations.
