Key achievements -Led the Quality transformation of the Coles product offer in one of retail supermarkets' biggest turn arounds in recent history.At the time of writing Coles was the fastest growing retailer globally with 30 consecutive quarters of industry leading growth -Led the Quality and Responsible Sourcing programmes for Private label food and non food products with an annual sales value in excess of $7.7bn AU, growing at 7% annually -Recruited, developed and motivated a team of over 100 scientific and product development specialists-Step changed the landscape of meat production through the development and implementation of higher welfare programmes to supply over $1bn AU annual sales value with double digit growth -Developed and led the Coles Quality Academy to step change Coles and Suppliers' capability in Product Quality management. Resulted in a 20% reduction in serious incidents and 5 years of successive reduction in customer complaint metrics In this role I lead the Food and Non Food Quality and Responsible Sourcing initiatives for the Coles merchandise team.As the executive charged with responsibility for our product related brand protection, the role is one of change management and partnership working collaboratively with stakeholders in the supply chain, government and not for profit sector.
