CurrentAs independent consultant, develop policy and advocacy strategies for clients from the corporate, non-profit and non-governmental sectors. • Provided strategic support on global vaccine issues to two leading vaccine companies – advising the vaccines business unit “CEO’s” on major policy issues and developing industry advocacy platforms.• On behalf of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) and the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), served as lead author for a peer-reviewed article -- published in the April 2013 issue of the journal Vaccine -- on the R&D-based vaccine industry’s contribution to the Decade of Vaccines initiative.• Coordinated an October 2013 public-private workshop -- co-hosted by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Government of Sweden -- on “The Journey of Vaccines”. This event, the first of its kind, assembled 40 public and private partners of the GAVI Alliance for an informal discussion regarding the perceptions, realities and challenges of bringing high quality vaccines to the populations who need them. Conducted a second workshop in June 2014 -- in collaboration with the same sponsors -- for GAVI Alliance Board members on "Let's Develop a Vaccine", focusing on the complexities of vaccine research & development. . On behalf of a leading vaccine company, developed an analysis of key issues, challenges and opportunities impacting the efficient operation of immunization supply systems. The report -- drawing on a comprehensive literature review and stakeholder interviews -- was released in June 2014.
