I provide professional copyediting services on a freelance basis for a variety of publications, including online and print magazines and online newsletters as well as for authors of fiction and nonficion books. I also proofread the transcript of a monthly Zoom class on spirituality.

In January 1984 the newspaper was called the Blade-Tribune. It then became the North County Blade-Citizen and finally the North County Times in 1995. Between 1984 and 1995 at different times I served as copyeditor, food editor, weekend wire editor and copy desk chief. Beginning in January 1995 I copyedited stories and page proofs for the Opinion, Life and Entertainment sections, served on the Style Committee to help decide questions of local style, co-wrote the North County Times Stylebook to supplement AP Stylebook and reviewed local theater productions for the Entertainment section.
