I established Twyg in response to a need for compelling stories about sustainability and circular design. This is also based on my conviction that story-telling is a powerful tool for transformation. Twyg, a media, events and projects platform, has a strong focus on fashion, design and people. We have created a learning hub for designers and launched the Twyg Sustainable Fashion Awards in 2019. We celebrate sustainable design practices and bring these designers to consumers. I am passionate about growing a community of responsible and sustainable makers and consumers. Before creating Twyg, I worked in various media, on various platforms, researching, writing and editing. I have an MA in Philosophy from Birkbeck, University of London and an MPhil in Sustainable Development from University of Stellenbosch
