My main summer project was to analyze the relationship between The Fabric and their 10 co-created companies and research the potential of co-branding. This project involved lots of research, interviews, and creativity! At the end of the summer, I compiled all of my research and knowledge into a comprehensive playbook, detailing the necessary marketing aspects for every stage of a startup: from stealth-mode to series-A funding. This playbook included detailed instructions for outbound and inbound marketing, along with templates for every piece of marketing collateral you can think of. Lastly, I gained major experience in digital design, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop, through designing a logo.

After working as the Assistant Manager/Head Shift lead for 2 months, I was briefly promoted to Temporary General Manager of Nekter Juice Bar in Sunnyvale. While the company looked for a permanent solution (as I had to head back to university), I not only kept the store afloat but drastically improved the inventory status, customer relations, organization, and the financial status of the store. I created schedules for the entirety of my term and for the future manager to allow for a smooth transition. Furthermore, I helped retrain current employees and train the current manager. It has been a great experience with tons of learning moments and I am very happy to have been able to help Nekter in a time of need.
