A six month contract that was extended, leading the team that promotes the good causes that receive National Lottery funding. A potential political minefield, liaising between Camelot, the DCMS and the various bodies that give out funding (Sports Council, Arts Council, Heritage Lottery Fund, Big Lottery Fund, etc.), this role demanded strong leadership of a small but powerful team, navigating choppy waters in terms of the Daily Mail et al and the lottery world.
