As Owner of Enable Enterprises, I helped people with disabilities train and prepare for employment through an online school. I also consulted for various companies, helping them hire people with disabilities and integrate them effectively into their business.

As the Chair of the Disability Mentoring Day Program of New York City for 10 years, a program under the mayor’s office, I worked with more than 5,000 people with disabilities, helping them to pursue and attain employment opportunities. I oversaw services such as resume development, interview prep, communication coaching, and dressing for success. As a person who has cerebral palsy and has had to find my own way to step outside of what people believe is possible for those who are disabled, I know firsthand that all things are possible. I let those who I supported know that I am proof that anyone can rise above real and perceived challenge and become a leader in his or her own right, with a solid system of support through mentoring and leadership training.
