Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of strategy for a large and diverse system (~39,000 students, 75% students of color, 73% free/reduced lunch, over 60 schools.) Led the development of Board policies. Coordinated the work of the district’s legislative liaison in state and federal issues. Delivered multiple robust community engagement efforts. Reported to the CEO and member of Superintendent’s Cabinet.

Provided operational support, including budget, procurement, and human resources, for principals and staff at the 115 highest performing schools in the district. Managed $9M budget.

Second-in-charge of department that managed $5 billion district operating budget. Promoted from Senior Manager in May 2009. Managed team of analysts in supporting all central office instructional departments in the strategic planning and management of their budgets.

Worked as internal consultant for several areas of district operations and schools. Provided strategic support on key projects to improve systems.

Assigned to the company’s two largest brand franchises - Reese's and Hershey's chocolate bars. Managed brand budgets and reported on profits and losses. Received RPBC Award, which was awarded by the CEO each quarter to three individuals throughout the company for business accomplishments and service to the community. Selected to the advisory councils for the development of two company-wide affinity groups.

Launched 2003 Navigator/Expedition door trim production units with cross-functional team. Responsible for designing assembly process layout, directing union workers in the installation of machines, and leading team for production validation testing. Selected to serve as department representative for the plant Diversity Council.
