Donors included The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Rotary International, Save the Children Guatemala, FritoLay Foundation, and PepsiCo.- Guided 3 teams of Engineers without Borders to build 10 community water systems.

• Selected by the Center for Public Service as one of six students to receive an alumni funded international internship experience• Attended grant writing workshop through FSD; subsequently wrote and was awarded a grant for $1,000 to implement and absorption pit project in conjunction with 50 families and the municipality of Ciudad Sandino
