As the lead for the Critical Incident Recovery Team for Minneapolis Public Schools, Jackie coordinates emergency management functions as related to the response, recovery, and support of the ongoing mental and emotional health and well-being of students and staff impacted by significant personal or community incidents. The work includes evaluation of the incidents for prevention and mitigation opportunities, including training, education, and coaching/development of leaders and staff. Coordinating cross-enterprise work in supporting students, staff, and community impacted by traumatic incidents. Developing programming, training, and interventions for Crisis Prevention and Crisis Recovery using trauma informed/healing and Social Emotional Learning principles, toward improving school climate and culture.
