This exciting post sits within the School of Health and Social Care at LSBU and will contribute to the leadership in learning and teaching and professional practice within the Allied Health Science department and wider teams. A key responsibility is to form networks and relationships to support the provision of placement links and student opportunities and the developing academic portfolio. This post has a project lead component within the Department for the development and planned delivery of pre-qualifying courses in Physiotherapy, Sport Rehabilitation and Chiropractic ensuring development and validation of the courses so that they are ready for delivery with viable cohorts and staff in post from September 2017. There are additional responsibilities to:1. Develop local clinical placement capacity within the on-site clinic in Caxton House in order to host student placements, provide income generating opportunities and to enhance the University and local community’s health and wellbeing.2. Contribute to Academic Management and Planning at Department and School levels. 3. Represent the University at a national level in discussions around AHP development andprovision as appropriate4. Contribute to the delivery of the prestigious Darzi Fellowship Programme hosted at LSBU as appropriate.
