I am currently a Biology Teacher at Boston Green Academy, focusing on enriching the curriculum with green themes to promote students in becoming agents of sustainability in their communities. I also focus on equity-driven pedagogical practices rooted in empathetic design. During the summer I am an educator and instructor for City Lab's SummerLab, focusing on teaching high school students the fundamentals of molecular genetics through biotechnology lab experience.I graduated from the University of Miami with a BS in a double major of Marine Science and Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I then completed a Masters of Arts in Teaching for Science Education as a Noyce Scholar in the Boston University School of Education.
