I approach communications with strategic thinking, impactful design, and a community-centric approach. My first career as an artist gave me a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling, and I now focus on supporting arts and nonprofit organizations increase their impact through the full ecosystem of communications.I'm a lifetime Pacific Northwesterner, a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship and Fulbright recipient, and a hobby printmaker.

    Traveled to five countries through a year-long fellowship to study and engage with the cultural significance of acrobatic and contortion training. Project Title: Stretching Humanity: Contortion in a Cross-Cultural Context Project Summary: Contortion is a powerful expressive form as its one instrument, the human body, is a tool all of humanity shares. I plan to examine the role that contortion plays in conversations of identity, community and the construction of what it means to be human as I explore local dynamics in traditional Mongolian contortion, ancient Chinese acrobatics, Indian yoga and the contemporary circus movement in Montreal. Through participation, observation and intercultural exploration, I will delve into the spiritual, artistic and humanistic potential of this expressive human form.
