I have taken up a freelance position at SiriusXM FC, broadcasting on North America’s biggest football network. Mostly appearing on the Breakfast-time ‘Football Show’, I have quickly developed a reputation as a strong broadcaster with a wide-ranging and deep-reaching knowledge of the game as a whole.

Upon leaving Bleacher Report, myself, Sam Tighe and Dean Jones - the team formerly behind B/R Football Ranks - decided to take the podcast independently into a new phase, and so we set up Ranks FC. Not only have we managed to bring a dedicated listenership across with us from our previous endeavours, but we have also managed to maintain and grow that listenership, whilst offering those who want more than one episode a week a special Ultras membership. Our Ultras also receive benefits such as an active Discord server in which to discuss everything football and beyond, and also a weekly newsletter containing a weekend watching schedule, music reviews, insider knowledge and links to our favourite articles and videos from the week, which I curate. In our first year we have signed partnership deals with New Balance and LiveScore, two behemoths in the football space, and have continued to expand our offering from audio into video, creating our own YouTube and social channels, which are populated with a host of content created every week. Other partners we have worked with over the second year include oddschecker, Twenty3, Blue Wire and Footwork Media.

I am a co-host of the ‘Fulhamish’ podcast, a podcast dedicated to Fulham FC and winner of the 2019 FSA Club Podcast of the Year award. Since inception in 2016, we have become one of the most respected and integral outlets of the Fulham community, and aside from my work on the podcast itself, I helped create a host of written content, as well as bringing in and managing a talented team of writers to provide a differing aspect to our offering. Since 2020 began, I have shifted my focus to our video and social offering, managing our YouTube channel, as well as helping to curate content for our social channels which reach over 30,000 Fulham fans.

The Athletic Soccer Show is a US-based podcast from The Athletic, covering a host of topics across world football. In my role as a host, I have anchored the show in various guises - from a weekly Weekend Review show covering the best of European football, to a World Cup edition which involved making both video and audio content on each gameday of the tournament, to interviews and club focused episodes that dig into the biggest and most interesting stories in football for an ever-growing US audience.

I anchored UEFA's Europa League Breakfast show, created in partnership with Minute Media, as well as UEL sponsors KIA and Sony, to drive engagement, interest and understanding around the UEFA Europa League. On the show we talked around the week's fixtures in the Europa League, with a selection of on-set co-hosts such as Josh Denzel, James Allcott, Jules Breach, Vithushan Ehantharajah and Sam Tighe. I also conducted remote interviews with special guests such as Tom Grennan and Guillem Balague to be included within the show. Released on a Thursday morning every matchweek, the show aims to promote the values and intricacies which make the Europa League unique - the focuses on youth, on cult heroes, on new experiences within the game.Over 7 episodes, the show gained over 240k views on YouTube, as well as hundreds of thousands of social media engagements across various channels.

From January 2019, I added to my social role by moving into the presenter space. I helped to ideate and create the B/R Football Ranks Podcast - B/R's first offering in the football space, which I host, produce, edit and publish, whilst also being part of the team which provides the social offering across the B/R channels for the podcast. Over the course of the first 20 episodes, the podcast has had over 1 million listens as an audio offering, whilst the video element, hosted on B/R's YouTube and social channels, continues to grow every week. Off the back of this, I have hosted segments for the Turner and B/R Champions League show live on TNT in America; and also hosted a dedicated Europa League Show which went out on B/R Live, Bleacher Report's YouTube channel and various other social channels in the US. Furthermore, I have been in front of camera for much of B/R's Instagram coverage at games this year. B/R Football has nearly 3 million followers on IG, and alongside my colleague and friend Sam Tighe, I have been the host of all the Emirates FA Cup coverage, done in tandem with the BBC; as well as covering the Women's Champions League and various other 'on the ground' topics.

As part of the social team at B/R Football, I was a part of building Bleacher Report Football’s social channels into the biggest and best football pages in the game, and running those channels on a day-to-day basis. From quickfire reaction plays to breaking news and live games, to the creation of large scale, pre-planned content, I was a cog in what was widely regarded as the most creative, quick-thinking team in the football social space.

Deputy Editor of Tram 22, an online music channel operating across multiple integrated platforms, which is listed on Hype Machine alongside the world's most influential music blogs. I write reviews and features about new music and related events, and assist the Editor in making sure the site remains up to date and well written.

I held the role of Editor of AllAboutCareers.com and AllAboutLaw.co.uk, two websites dedicated to bring careers-based news, advice and features to the Graduate, Undergraduate and School Leaver communities, with a focus on providing quality content in order to inform students of the choices available to them.The two websites attract over 200,000 independent users a month between them, and I write, commission or edit all content for both websites. Current affairs feature heavily in the news content of the site, and researching and producing exciting, relevant material is a key part of the role.In addition, AllAboutLaw produces a regular 20-page commercial insight newspaper, The Principle, of which I am an Editor and Features Writer.I am also responsible for adapting existing content for SEO optimisation and website traffic growth, and for producing shareable features to drive up unique website views and lower site bounce rate.

Alongside my role at AllAboutGroup, I freelanced at deltatre’s Media House in Wimbledon, in their capacity providing match commentary and social media services for UEFA, the European Football Association. I worked on match nights providing live commentary on Champions League and Europa League games, and am part of the social media team – working on the official UEFA Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts in order to maximise followers and extend the social reach of the organisation.

Currently a contributing writer at Bespoke Magazine, where I produce both music and sport articles for the website, which is aimed at a young adult audience.

Freelance contributing writer at Public Pressure magazine, a cultural publication centred around the at of storytelling within articles. My article for Public Pressure regarding Bonkaz being the lyrical heir to Mike Skinner remains one of the most shared articles on the site, and was hailed by the artist himself as being a fantastic piece regarding his work.

Freelance contributing writer at the Viva El Fulham fansite, writing a variety of reports, analysis and insight into the fortunes of Fulham FC, transfer policy, player statistics and the position of the fanbase. This is backed up by a good presence on Twitter amongst the Fulham community, where I am a respected contributor to debates around the club.

As a member of the Van Mildert College Services Committee, I helped to maintain the on-site shop for a community of six hundred students. The Committee opens the shop for eight hours every single day during term time, maintaining low prices for student satisfaction as well as budgeting, keeping a strong public presence and maintaining stock levels.

For an academic year I was a bartender at the College Bar, which opens every night during term time.

In my time away from University, I provided cover over the busy periods at the Medical Centre, completing various tasks which ranged from phoning patients to building information banks, through to organising appointments and bringing the surgery up to date online. I created a social media presence for the surgery and in doing so, provided another forum for them to contact their patients. During my time there, I have also deputised for the surgery’s assistant manager over various periods covering annual leave. Reporting to the Surgery Manager I was responsible for answering telephone calls, organising timetables and making sure everything was running smoothly. In managing this role despite little experience in the medical field, I feel that I proved I am able to think effectively on my feet and developed my ability to work through situations logically with the tools at my disposal.

I held the role of Music Editor of Palatinate, Durham’s Official Student Newspaper for my third year at Durham. Within this role I was expected to produce a two page spread every fortnight with the latest music news both inside and outside of the University. I led a team of contributors, interviewed bands and produced album and concert reviews, on top of which I kept the music section of the website up to date. I also attended editorial board meetings where we focused on the continued improvement of the content of the newspaper across all sections.

As Publicity Officer I was responsible for the widespread publicity of the Festival (the largest student music festival in the North-East of England), which involved creating a large social media presence and informing students of the merits of the event, as well as helping to gain sponsorship from a variety of different companies.

As both Vice President and Treasurer of the Football Club I had a split role. I was responsible for the financial stability of the Football Club, which has over 120 members. I also kept the club’s orders in shape, allowing players to order kit and training gear over the course of the year.Perhaps most importantly though, I carried out a complete rework of the Club's Social Media platforms, ensuring that results, player statistics, and match reports were all added to the Facebook page to be shared and enjoyed by the players, bringing a sense of real club spirit and togetherness to an all time high. Additionally, I was the first port of call when assisting the President with his duties, and helped the Club run smoothly in it's most successful season to date. We oversaw the running of six football teams and ensured that the seventh was set up ready for our successors to take on, as well as managing a budget of over £3000.

This Committee was formed to improve relations and communication between the four major media outlets at the University. I was elected as a member of the Committee as I had been a part of all four aspects during my University career. In meetings we helped to develop cross-communication techniques, which have been successful in improving all four entities. I was also elected by the Committee to represent them to the Student’s Union as part of the Assembly, and thus represented the Media Community in the University’s highest democratic body.

For four summers I worked at NeighbourNet, who run a chain of local news websites, including ChiswickW4.com, the largest hyper-local site in the world. Over the course of my time here I was promoted from being simply a contributor, to being given full editorial control of the sites when their respective editors were absent. I was also given full control of the social media aspects of certain websites, creating profiles in order to bring news faster to locals on another forum. Not only did I gain an insight into the world of journalism, but I gained transferable skills in terms of technology, responsibility and teamwork. To add to this, I was also involved in the advertising parts of the business in latter years, helping to promote the site to local businesses and increasing our sponsorship, and in doing so building up a network of useful contacts and procuring collaborative schemes which were mutually beneficial.
