Current- Designed a knee exoskeleton to evaluate the effectiveness of parallel elastic actuators (PEAs) in assisting in sit to stand - Utilized convex optimization to find PEAs in ankle exoskeletons can reduce required motor torque more than the hip or knee- Tested dozens of motor assemblies to support team members as lab’s mechanical systems expert- Certified Additive Manufacturing Expert (Markforged Composite 3D Printing Course)- Investigated compliant motor housing for University of Michigan’s open-source leg (OSL) prosthesis
