Current Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. Also working part-time at Nottingham Forest FC.MSc Physiotherapy (pre-reg) graduate from The University of Lincoln, achieving a Distinction. Also, a BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Therapy graduate from Leeds Beckett University, achieving a 2:1 final grade classification. I have been involved within a professional football environment from a very young age having represented Nottingham Forest and Mansfield Town FC at youth level. I have also obtained my FA level 1 coaching badge, with a view to potentially completing my level 2 in the near future.Previously I worked full-time at Notts County FC as an Academy Sports Therapist, meaning I was responsible for the U9-U16’s. Within this role I was expected to attend academy training sessions and matches where I worked pitch-side. Not only that but I was also responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of any player that got injured. I was in charge of the club’s part-time academy medical staff meaning I had to manage a team and ensure rota’s were kept up to date.I then embarked on a different path and worked within the MSK team at CityCare in The NHS. My role was as a Rehabilitation & Exercise Practitioner. Patients were referred to me when it is deemed that they would benefit from a comprehensive, evidence based rehabilitation or exercise programme. I had my own caseload of patients and frequently ran classes for multiple patients.
