Oversaw the growth and development of team with respect to annual performance appraisals, training oversight and career development.• “Meaningful Use Reporting” - Enabled collection of data from Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to support Meaningful Use Reporting for 10 CCF hospitals and over 1,700 employed eligible physicians and 250 private practice eligible providers. Project generated federal incentive revenue for of $45M.• eResearch - Led a team of developers supporting Clinical Trial, Retrospective studies, Clinical Alerts, Clinical recruitment for both CCF employed physicians and outside Pharmaceutical organizations. Supervised the day-to-day activities of project teams which include technical analyst, business analysts, developers, information architects, visual designers, SEO/SEM analysts. Oversaw the growth and development • Redesign of the workflow of employee’s assignment for a large medical transcription company. The existing system had inconsistencies in the amount of credit for work the employee would receive based on the classification and mix of their assignments. New system reduced annual payroll expense by $2M annually.• Led the creation of an emergency room (ER) application which fully automated the tracking and processing a patient from the emergency room check-in through discharge of the emergency room. The features of the application allowed for multiple diagnosis, treatments / procedures, drug interaction monitoring and billing. Increased ER utilization and efficiency raised patient satisfaction survey scores by 15%.• Streamlined the pre-authorization process and billing application for a medical insurance company to ensure the group members procedures were processed correctly for pre-and/or co-requisites procedures. This reduced the occurrence of miss coding and ultimately miss billing the user by the provider or pharmacy. Annual saving realized $4M• As a Program Manager -coordinated day-to-day activities managing project managers, team leaders and project teams for custom developed applications including integration management of major project components, scope planning, definition, verification and change control. Completed WBS creation and management for project activity and schedule control. Supervised Cost Management, Quality Management, Project Organization and Risk/Issue Management. Program budget was $2.25M and encompassed 12 project work streams.
